Dinner with a purpose behind it
The supper club is the funding engine for the variety show. It is a real dinner series with real cooking at the center of it — not a charity gala with a raffle. You come for the food. The food pays the artists.
Chantelle Sookram cooks these dinners. She is Trinidadian-born and French-trained, and the menus draw on both. Her wider culinary work lives at mendocinochef.com.
How a night works
Seats are limited and released to the mailing list first. Menus change with what is available on the coast, so no two dinners repeat. Some nights pair the table with performance; others are dinner alone.
